SALE SHARKS were blown away by five second-half tries to fall to a heavy defeat against Wasps.
The two sides were evenly-matched in the power game during the opening exchanges but Wasps gained the edge with use of the tailwind to get Elizabeth Crake in position to score from close range, following a break by Hannah West.
Loosehead Crake was over again on 26 minutes after Wasps forced a turnover at the ruck to give Florence Williams a touchfinder to the corner.
