ROBYN LOCK’S last-gasp try salvaged victory for Gloucester-Hartpury at the Alpas Arena, as Worcester Warriors were denied victory in dramatic fashion.
Zoe Aldcroft powered Gloucester early on with a sharp lineout steal leading to her scoring the first try of the contest, dragging two tacklers over the line.
Worcester’s Meg Varley then displayed her speed to break down the left wing from a quick tap to draw Kelly Smith into a try-saving tackle, but Warriors recycled the ball through the forwards for Sioned Harries to burrow over.
