OWEN Williams won the clash of the British flyhalves as his Docomo Red Hurricanes overcame the NEC Green Rockets 38-19.

The Welshman converted all five of his side’s tries and also landed a penalty, to shade Alex Goode (two goals from three attempts) in the battle off the kicking tee, during a game where the Red Hurricanes always held the upper hand despite a brave rally from the Green Rockets early in the second half.
Two tries in four minutes closed the Rockets to within five points, but their victory hopes were later dashed by two tries ifrom TJ Perenara.
