Frozen pitch forces derby postponement

FRIDAY’S PRO14 game between Glasgow and Edinburgh was postponed 30 minutes before kick-off.
It was the second leg of the 1872 Cup between the rivals after Edinburgh won 10-7 at home last week.
Edinburgh coach Richard Cockerill said: “The pitch wasn’t fit to scrummage on so we made a decision. It is frozen underneath the plastic grass. As far as I’m aware, everybody is in agreement.
