CARDIFF BLUES are leading the race to land Rhys Priestland when his contract with Bath runs out at the end of the season.
The former Wales flyhalf, who also operates at full-back, recently told TRP that he was playing for his future at The Rec, but he does have options.
The Blues are keen on signing Priestland, who celebrates his 34th birthday next week, and have made him an offer to return to South Wales.
Priestland, who spent six seasons playing for the Scarlets before moving to the West Country in 2015, penned a two-year extension in April 2019 but that deal runs out this summer.
