Grove goes long way

ALEX Grove completed the Channel swim on Thursday from Dover to Cape Griz Nez in 13 hours 57 minutes. Former Scotland and Worcester centre Grove, 32, had to go the long way because choppy water meant he missed the optimum tide and current and ended up covering 35 miles! The swim has raised £26k so far for the Acorns Children hospice.
