Mulchrone becomes mentor to next batch of young Sharks

FERGUS MULCHRONE is excited at the prospect of bringing through the next generation of Curry twins and James brothers after landing the plum job as Sale Sharks’ academy manager. The Rugby Paper can exclusively reveal that the 33-year-old former Rotherham and London Irish utility back has beaten off stiff competition to land the role vacated by Brendan Thomas this summer.
