Ryan emerges as last contender for Dragons top job

DEAN Ryan is a late contender to take charge at struggling Dragons.
The Gwent region parted company with head coach Bernard Jackman in December with Ceri Jones taking charge for the rest of the current campaign.
A four-man shortlist for a new permanent boss has been drawn up with Jones, Wales attack coach Rob Howley, and former England forwards guru Graham Rowntree all on it.
But The Rugby Paper understands former Bristol, Gloucester and Worcester supremo Ryan is under strong consideration.
