IN the only dead rubber of the final round of PRO14 games, with both teams secure in their knock-out berths, understrength Leinster failed to win a league game for the fourth time in a row.
A try on debut for Marcus Rae gave Ulster a deserved win after Dave Shanahan had kept them in touch with a first-half try.
Leinster have a home semi-final in the bag, while Ulster face Connacht in Belfast next Saturday in the quarter-final.
