New Shark Shepherd suing Saints

New Sale signing Cameron Shepherd is suing Northampton Saints for pulling out of a deal to sign him.
A three-year deal was announced in May for the 28-year-old Australian international but earlier this month, the Saints pulled out over “fitness concerns” and Shepherd joined Sale Sharks earlier this week instead.
His agent Nick Fordham said: “I am appalled at the behaviour of Northampton. Expert medical reports have concluded that there is nothing wrong with Cameron's ankle.
“Having subsequently passed a medical and signed with the Sale Sharks proves there are huge holes all through Northampton's action and position.
“What's the point in having contracts where things can be completely fabricated to break them?”
