Four arrive and Edwards pens new deal at Bristol

Ryan Edwards has signed a new contract at who have also announced the arrival of four players ahead of next season.
Alongside the academy graduate who has made 12 appearances in the blue and white hoops this season, Bristol have also signed hooker Jason Harris-Wright, Jersey No.8 Nick Haining, tighthead Tyler Gendall and Watsonians scrum half Reiss Cullen.
“Ryan has worked really hard to get back from a hernia injury and he played superbly on his return to play against on Saturday,” said Head Coach Mark Tainton.
“He's a tenacious winger who has stepped up to the demands of the and shown, consistently, that he can perform well at this level. At 26 years old, Ryan is reaching the prime of his career and we're delighted that another Academy-produced player is buying into what we are trying to achieve here.
“We're pleased to bolster our options with these talented young players. Tyler [Gendall] caught the eye with his performances for Harlequins in the second part of the Premiership season, while Nick [Haining] has been one of the standout performers in the for Jersey.
“Jason [Harris-Wright] is a physical, abrasive hooker who showed his quality under Pat [Lam] at Connacht. At 28 years of age, he fits the bill for what we are looking for and provides competition in the front row.
“Reiss [Cullen] is a livewire of a scrum half who we've been really impressed by. He's a young man who is hungry to make a name for himself in the professional game.”
