Harlequins have bolstered their front row option with the signing of Samoan international hooker Elia Elia on a short term contact with immediate effect.
The 20 year-old has previously been involved with the Crusaders development squad and has been capped three times by Samoa.
Director of Rugby John Kingston said: “As things stand within our squad, we have one or two injuries in the hooker position.
“He is a player who came on to our radar when we trained with Samoa recently.I’m delighted that he has taken the opportunity to join up with our squad and I’m sure he will make a valuable impact.”
