Scott Wilson signs new deal with Newcastle Falcons

prop Scott Wilson has committed his future to the club after agreeing a new three-year contract to stay at Kingston Park.
The 21-year-old tighthead, a 2013 Junior winner with , has made 49 appearances since making his debut during the 2012-13 season.
Wilson said: “It's my first club, I've been here since I was in my academy and I enjoy playing professional rugby for it. Playing Rugby has been tough going and has really tested me out and provided a real challenge.”
“I just want to develop, we have some really good coaches here who I get on with well and who have made the decision to say really simple.  It is my club, I like being here and I just want to keep on playing here.”
Director of Rugby Dean Richards commented: “Scotty is a really good young prop who has really established himself as a key member of the setup here and it is great news for the club that he has agreed this new deal.”
“He has already shown a great deal of skill and ability since his first appearance against Cross Keys and when you think front row forwards don't really come into their prime until their late twenties or early thirties, he has so much potential to realise.”
“He's been part of this club for over seven years and I'm delighted he's agreed a deal that will take him to at least ten and that he sees the Falcons as his club.”
