Wales start tour with Kings win

Wales began their tour of South Africa with a 34-12 win over Eastern Province Kings in Port Elizabeth last night.
With the first Test against the Springboks on Saturday, Warren Gatland mainly picked second string players but they were never in doubt against a side that is just starting their Currie Cup preparation.
Josh Turnbull and Cory Allen went over in the first half for a 17—0 lead before James Hook, who also kicked three conversions and a penalty, Alex Cuthbert and Gareth Davies rounded up the night for the Red Dragons.
The South Africa never matched their opponents up front but their efforts were rewarded late in the game with wing Siviwe Soyizwapi and replacement prop Simon Kerrod grabbing consolations tries.
