Looking back on my career, perversely one of my fondest memories is the graft. Not the trophies or the headlines, but the grim, shared work that stitches a team together.
The Ealing 3G days where the heat came up through your boots and the conditioning coach piled on “just one more” block of burpees and rows.
The Cornish Pirates sand dunes where grown men ended up on hands and knees, clawing up the slope while the Atlantic wind tried to blow us...
