Dream Team: David Sisi, former London Irish and Bath back row

1. Nathan Catt – When fit and firing you don’t see many looseheads with his level of footwork and dancing feet. Nicknamed ‘Jay Rodriguez’ after the former Southampton striker.
2. Tom Dunn – You cannot not pick a guy who doesn’t know how to give anything less than 150 per cent! A tackling machine who has no respect for his own body.
3. Tadhg Furlong – Did great things for the Lions and playing against him in the PRO14 you can see exactly why. Arguably the world’s best tight-head.
4. Will Spencer – Man-mountain who has overcome huge injury obstacles to be close to England selection. Runs all day, hits everything hard, carries powerfully – the perfect No.4 lock.
5. Elliott Stooke – Ran out for England a fortnight ago and a thoroughly deserved honour. Barely missed a game for Bath in two years. Quality operator.
6. Leone Nakarawa – Comfortable in back or second row, you can set a plan to stop his offloading but it’s impossible. Hit him hard, double-tackle, send him backwards – still offloads!
7. Chris Hala’ufia – Hardest man to play in the Premiership! Offers sheer physicality and, growing up in the London Irish ranks, he was someone I looked up to.
8. Carl Fearns – Another mountain of a man. Hugely physical, gives everything and a no-nonsense character who should have had more England recognition before going to France.
9. Dan Robson – Played two Junior World Cups with Dan and he’s kicked-on leaps and bounds. Great kicking and passing game and offers a brilliant attacking threat.
10. Carlo Canna – Zebre colleague who has really impressed me. Great all-rounder with a magical inside step, makes line-breaks and leaves big men looking silly.
11. Sinoti Sinoti – Lit up the Premiership in his first year and still doing it. Shorter than you imagine but so powerful and strong through contact. Always a massive threat on the wing.
12. Seilala Mapusua – London Irish legend and exactly what you want from a No.12. Hard-hitting, carries the ball, offloads and a great servant for Irish and Samoa. Brilliant bloke too.
13. Gael Fickou – Made his name at Junior World Cup level and was soon called up by the senior French side. Electric in attack, express pace and the ability to do something out of nothing.
14. Anthony Watson – A guy I’ve known for a long time who is now achieving big things for England and the Lions. Has the X-factor and can finish tries as well.
15. Matteo Minozzi – Took the Six Nations by storm and Italy’s standout. Absolute livewire, difficult to tackle and a strong counter-attacker who bursts into space.
