Dream Team: Mark Cornwell – former Gloucester lock

Mark Cornwell1. Rodrigo Roncero – An outstanding attacking scrummager with an all-round game. Tough customer who could carry and be as useful at the breakdown as a backrow forward.
2. Trevor Leota – A physical specimen who you wouldn't want to run into in a defensive line. Huge hitter and hard to stop.
3. Phil Vickery – The big Cornishman came to at 17 and little did we know we had a young, aspiring British Lion and future captain in our squad. Took the prop forward into the professional game.
4. Simon Shaw – At 6ft 9in, Shawsy was a mammoth of a man. We always hated playing against him as he would always cause us issues around the set-piece.
5. Ian Jones – Former All Black is a legend. He came to Gloucester in 1999 for two seasons. He made the game look so easy and was an absolute gentleman on and off the pitch.
6. Lawrence Dallaglio – One of the best back row forwards to have played the game. Very rarely made mistakes and won most of the top honours with club and country.
7. Akapusi Qera – Q came to Gloucester in 2007 and he also knew where the try line was. Could tackle with the best of them, too.
8. Junior Paramore – The friendly Samoan turned into an animal when he crossed the white line. Put his body on the line week after week.
9. Dimitri Yachvili – Philippe Saint Andre brought him to Gloucester at the age of 20. We all knew he'd play Test rugby and ended up with 60 caps. Fantastic player and a great guy off the pitch.
10. Alex King – The most talented fly-half to have only five England caps. A key member of the most successful side of the professional era.
11. Philippe Saint-André – Another legend of the game who came to Gloucester as a player in 1997 and went on to be DoR until 2002. Would read the play quicker than most and always turn up in the right place.
12. Will Greenwood – An outstanding player who just made good decisions in both attack and defence.
13. Terry Fanolua – A true Gloucester legend who gave his all for the club. His game was always about getting gain line for his team mates. A good friend who is still involved with coaching at the club to this day.
14. James Simpson-Daniel – One of the best players to grace the turf at Kingsholm. Having played with “Sinbad” for nearly 10 years I saw him develop into one of the most feared wings in .
15. Tinus Delport – The Springbok full-back was a rock under the high ball and as last line of defence, and also a potent attacking threat.
