Jones to stick with the Aussies

ON THE BLINDSIDE

Eddie Jones is pouring cold water on reports that he could return to Japan and plans to see out the rest of his four-year contract with the Australian Rugby Union.
The rumour mill went into overdrive last week when a report from Japan suggested that Jones, under contract with the ARU under 2027, was “negotiating” with Japanese officials.
Japan are looking for a new head coach to replace New Zealander Jamie Joseph and Jones, who led them to their greatest-ever success against South Africa in 2015 and is still held in high regard.
