It’S the beginning of a new season and the same idea that it’s the score that makes the game worth watching is on display once again.
There was a total of 44 tries in the first six games, making an average of just over seven tries a game. It suggests that either the break over the summer has impacted on all teams’ defensive cohesion, or there’s a lack of true competition.
It may be that I have a different view than most but to me I would rather watch a closely fought 3-3 draw than games averaging over 55 points split between the teams.
