Powell to coach at Southwell

ON THE BLIND SIDE

FORMER WALES No.8 Andy Powell has joined Nottinghamshire-based Southwell as head coach after moving nearer to family in the area.
The former Lion who played has been coaching at Brecon in south Wales.
But he has taken over from Josh Barlow, who moved on from the Park Lane outfit who are due to play in the Midlands 3 East (North) division next season.
Powell is best known for being booted out of Wales’ Six Nations squad in 2010 after driving a golf buggy on the M4 motorway.
