The 21-year-old Northampton Saints star has become the first rugby union player to join the newly-launched agency, which Hearn unveiled earlier this month as he looks to expand his reach beyond boxing.
Pollock, below, joins UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall on Matchroom’s books, underlining the scale of belief in one of English rugby‘s most marketable young talents.
Pollock’s stock has soared over the last year, with his performances, confidence and personality marking him out as one of the sport’s brightest emerging figures.

Profile
Hearn, never shy in talking up a star he believes in, made clear just how highly he rates the flanker.
“I watched this kid and I immediately thought: superstar,” said Hearn.
“I honestly believe he can singlehandedly ignite this sport and I am delighted to welcome him to the Matchroom family.”
Pollock will continue to work alongside Stellar Rugby on parts of his commercial affairs.
Matchroom, however, is expected to focus on helping build his wider profile, brand and marketing opportunities.
It is a significant move for a player whose appeal already stretches beyond his impact on the pitch.
Deal: Eddie Hearn
Delighted
Pollock said: “I’m delighted to be joining forces with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Talent Agency alongside Stellar Rugby at such an exciting stage in my career.
“Their experience and vision in the global sports market make them the perfect partners to help me grow both on and off the field, and I’m looking forward to what we can all achieve together.”
Hearn has spoken in recent weeks about rugby’s untapped commercial potential. He suggested the game has failed to properly sell its biggest personalities.
During the Six Nations, he posted that the sport deserved greater “profile, storytelling and noise”, comparing its appeal to boxing in terms of discipline, toughness and character.
