Clamp down on offside to get a great Six Nations

THE phrase ‘great line speed’ is one we hear on a frequent basis from TV commentators.
It is used to describe the rapid uniform press with which a defensive line advances on the team attempting to launch an attack.
It is also, more often than not, the wrong call. Great line speed mostly equals offside.
