Wasps secure World Cup winner Fekitoa

have announced the signing of centre Malakai Fekitoa, who is set to join the club next season.
The news comes just a day after it was revealed that Nathan Hughes and Willie le Roux will be leaving the Coventry-based side at the end of the season.
international Elliot Daly is rumoured to be another big name set to be leaving Wasps, meaning that Fekitoa could potentially be used as a replacement.
The 26-year-old currently plays for French side in the Top14 and can play at either inside or outside centre.
He will join former Highlanders team-mate Lima Sopoaga, in the Wasps backline, a player who was consulted about the move for Fekitoa.
Wasps Director of Rugby , believes that the new signing shows that his side are still progressing despite a poor run of form.
“It's a statement of intent for everyone out there who thought we'd given up on trying to compete at the top,” he said.
“I think it proves that we're still kicking and punching. We're losing some players but we are bringing some quality players in.
“He had a lot of big offers, a lot more money than we could pay but he wanted to come play in the . He admires the Premiership. He loves the way that it's really competitive.”
