John Mitchell has challenged his Red Roses to treat the new WXV Global Series as an early audition for the 2029 World Cup as England begin plotting the next phase of their development.

The world champions will face Australia, Canada and New Zealand at home before travelling to Canada and the United States during September and October, giving Mitchell’s squad an unusually demanding block of international rugby.
England open against Australia in Salford on September 12, host Canada at Sandy Park a week later and face New Zealand at Twickenham on September 26 before heading across the Atlantic...
