I’m proud we fronted up, says Wales captain Owens

Wales skipper Ken Owens refused to hide behind the turmoil of last week after his side’s 20-10 defeat to England in Cardiff.
The match was only confirmed as going ahead on Wednesday night when the WRU caved in to some of the players’ demands over contracts, the 60-cap rule and player representation.
They missed a training session on Tuesday while heated talks were going on but Owens insisted he would not hide behind the disrupted week to explain Wales’ first loss in Cardiff to England since 2017.
