Antoine Dupont is closer to full fitness as he was included in France‘s 42-man Six Nations squad.
Despite missing the last month with a knee injury, Antoine Dupont is expected to make his return to action this weekend as his Toulouse side face Cardiff in the Heineken Champions Cup.
Head coach Fabien Galthie has named four uncapped players in his extended tournament squad. The two backs are Lyon fly-half Leo Berdeu who tops the Top14 points tally this season and La Rochelle centre Jules Favre.
Clermont’s Daniel Bibi Biziwu and Racing 92 flanker Yoan Tangae are the two uncapped forwards to make the squad.
The youthful French squad includes a mere four players over 30 – highlighting the growth of young French talent.

Dupont is expected to lead the side again in the absence captain Charles Olliovon who is sidelined with a long-term knee injury.
Jeremy Guscott believes that Dupont is nowhere near all time great scrum-half Gareth Edwards. But, with time on his side, the French youngster is certainly on his way there.
One thing is assured, the Six Nations will be better with Dupont’s inclusion.
