GB women clinch sevens spot at Paris Olympics

GREAT Britain’s women’s sevens team won gold at the European Games in Krakow, Poland to clinch a place at the Paris 2024 Olympics. GB women ran in five tries to beat Poland 33-0 in Tuesday’s final. The men’s side lost to Ireland in the final 26-12 and missed out on Olympic qualification, but can still secure a spot in Paris at the final qualification tournament in June next year.
