Hamilton scales the peaks in 24 hours

PLAYERS of all football codes are never slow to spout about having mountains to climb without ever bothering to buy a pair of crampons. All credit, then, to Scotland’s Welsh flanker Luke Hamilton for scaling the heights during preseason training.
Hamilton mounted the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, an expedition that involved almost a 25- mile trek and an aggregate climb not far short of 3,500 metres.
