FRANCE ended the first day of matches in the U18 Women’s Six Nations festival being held in north Wales as the only team to claim two wins, with England a win and a draw. England began with a 19-12 victory over Ireland. Ellie Wilson scored an early try for the junior Red Roses, breaking away to score under the posts after an Irish knock-on.
