Joe Schmidt will be hailed as a miracle man if the Wallabies succeed in blindsiding the Lions to edge the forthcoming Test series which starts in Brisbane on Saturday.
However, while it would permanently enhance the New Zealander’s international coaching CV, there is another long-term consideration that Aussies would do well to consider before they put Schmidt on a pedestal.
