Maro Itoje brought the lessons learned from his successful Lions captaincy in Australia into England camp as the autumn internationals got underway.

The lock, who led Andy Farrell’s tourists to a 2-1 series win against the Wallabies, was back in the national job at England’s training base in Bagshot last week.
He was introducing himself to some of the newer faces, who shone on the tour to Argentina under Steve Borthwick, just like he had to do with Scots, Irish and Welsh players on the Lions trip.
