Eloise Hayward is still knocking on Simon Middleton’s door for a full England call-up but that hasn’t stopped the scrum-half from competing around the world.
Hayward’s father, Steve, was in the navy and so she found herself growing up in Oman, Indonesia and Dubai. Her family had no intention of returning to live in England but her rugby skills meant they booked a plane ticket home.
