winger Abby Dow scored twice as Wasps secured a comfortable victory at home to in the Premier 15s.

The Wasps starting fifteen saw several changes in the front row with Hannah West moving into hooker and Mica Evans starting at prop, joined by Alex Powell at four.

In the backs, Hannah Edwards came in to start at 10 with a switch up in the back three as Abby Dow moved over to wing with Katie Mason at full-back.

And it was Mason who scored the first points for the hosts, dotting down after just ten minutes at Twyford Avenue.

Harriet Millar-Mills crossed for their second, Hannah Edwards converting to give the home side an early 12-0 lead.

DMP Sharks struck back on 24 minutes through captain Heather Kerr, but Wasps were quick on the follow up, Hannah West crossing and Edwards providing the conversion.

Wasps were unable to extend their lead in the first half but were certainly dominating the game in West London, winger Abby Dow and West showing great work rate to chase down kicks in the middle of the park.

After the break it did not take long for Wasps to widen the gap once again, Dow turning on the pace to score a beautiful try on the wing as they turned the screw and made the visitors pay for their disappointing defence.

Edwards converted her third of the game, before Dow crossed again to give her side a 29-7 lead.

Kerr managed to score a second for DMP Sharks with just five minutes to go but it was too little, too late from the away side as Wasps ran out 29-14 winners on home soil for their second win of the 2019/20 campaign.
