LOUGHBOROUGH Lightning thumped Firwood Waterloo to secure their second win of the new season.
Waterloo were not helped by sustaining several injuries early in the day, including Irish international full-back Lauren Delaney who pulled up in the warm up.
It took just two minutes for Lightning to strike through Rhona Lloyd who weaved her way through the Waterloo defence before Bethan Davies successfully converting a penalty from the tee to reduce the gap.
