Trailfinders’ England captain Meg Jones is hoping to finish a remarkable season by lifting the Premiership Women’s Rugby trophy courtesy of an “underdog victory” in today’s final against Saracens.
The west Londoners joined the PWR only in 2023 and having never finished higher than sixth, they secured fourth spot before going on to beat the triple champions Gloucester-Hartpury 29-26 at Kingsholm in their semi-final on June 14.
