AFTER three matches, Sale have demonstrated their credentials as likely candidates to be in the promotion contention come April – this time inflicting a heavy home defeat on Bury.
Sale opened the scoring following an unforced Bury error, with Osian Roberts showing his pace, and James Mitchell converted.
Bury hit back through Matt Hema, before Sale displayed skill and pace for Owain Williams to score.
Euan Rees responded for Bury and Ben Pen-fold converted to make it 10-14 to Sale at the break.
