With 15 minutes left, Aquile Smith, marking his 100th appearance, effectively killed the game with a fine try, Jack Jolly making no mistake with what was to be the final score.
Despite the heavy pitch, the game started at a high tempo.
Freddie Painter collected a kick from the visitors on his 22, ran down the left wing to chip and chase the covering defender to win the foot race.
With Moseley on the five metres, a catch and drive turned into an unstoppable 14-man maul, with Ryan Roach touching down.
