PLYMOUTH battled back from behind to snatch a dramatic victory at Blackheath, as Thomas Putt’s late penalty sealed the win.
Split by just one place in the top half of the table, this was always likely to be a close game.
Blackheath opened the scoring when William Harding, touched down a maul drive, with Tom Ffitch converting.
Plymouth’s reply matched that score as, before the break, in darted Harrison Legg, parity restored by Francisco Dart’s conversion.
