Sale FC held on to edge a tight contest away to Taunton Titans.
Taunton were on the scoreboard after only two minutes. Winger Immanuel Feyi-Warbosa broke through the centre, chipped over the top, won the foot race and tapped on for fellow winger Gabriel Goss to go in for the score.
The try was converted by George Warboys.
Taunton held the lead until the 25th minute when Sale won a line-out on the Titans line and, from the rolling maul, levelled the scores, Joshua Brown scoring and James Robins adding the extras.
