SHORN of eight frontline players through injuries and other absences, Bishop’s Stortford were unable to hold out against Plymouth.
Stortford were undaunted by the powerfulopposition, scoring a well-deserved try after seven minutes through James Apperley, following great work in midfield by Nick Hankin and Johnny Neville.
Tom Banks converted and then added a penaltyfive minutes later.
But Plymouth came into the game and only some heroic home defence held them out until Eoghan Grace touched down from a driving maul.
