CINDERFORD signed off their season by winning what was their first-ever visit to basement side Syston.
They made the long trip to the Midlands, from the heart of the Forest of Dean, facing a side playing for pride to finish a first season in the National League.
The game started at a fast pace, as Cinderford opened the scoring on five minutes with Samuel Smith’s score, before William Hutchings clutched down for a Syston reply, 12 minutes later.
