Lymm……………………24
Camborne…………….34
BEN PRIDDEY continued his fine try-scoring form, as his hat-trick helped his Camborne side to a 300mile round-trip victory on the road at Lymm.
Despite legendary Fijian international brothers Josh and Sam Matavesi offering a clear angle, lacing up their boots for Camborne, it was clinical hooker Priddey who once again took the headlines.
And his side wasted no time in showing their class, with a 1stminute try from Kyle Moyle which was soon followed by scores from Priddey and Alex Ducker with zero reply from the hosts.
Jordan Nicholls crossed just after half time, to take it beyond a three-score game before Lymm finally trouble the scoresheet through Joshua Hadland’s score. The positivity didn’t last long though, as Priddey crossed again in the 53rd minute, to restore the buffer before his hat-trick try to truly kill the game.
Camborne emptied the bench and eased off the gas thereafter, allowing Lymm to put some respectability on the scoreline with tries from Callum Morris, Nathan Beesley and Patrick Jennings.
The five-and-a-half home drive home, however, surely felt worth it for Camborne.
