BOTTOM-side pushed Guernsey all the way on their trip to the Islanders.

North held out the home side until Hugo Culverhouse drove over the line via a scrum, with Ciaran McGann converting.

The visitors then ran the ball from their own half for Tawanda Kandemwa to score and Ross Magnus to convert. Raiders' Niall McGann finished off a backs move to add a try.

North took the lead with a fine team effort as Harry Langbridge ran free to score under the posts, Magnus converting.

Raiders finished the first half, adding two tries, star man Dom Rice driven over from a maul. Ciaran Mc-Gann then ran in after a darting break from Sam Boyland.

Raiders struck first after the break with Rice's second try and McGann converted.

North scored the try of the day as they ran the ball from end to end, with Dan Smith diving under the posts.

Both teams again exchanged tries, with Raiders' James Burger driven over from a maul, and North's Conner Dudley flying in from another decisive break. which Magnus converting 34-28.

But Guernsey eventually finished off the win as Boyland struck with a try finishing off a backs move, with Tom Teasdale adding the conversion.
