Hoppers heroic as lead swaps hands

PRESTON Grasshoppers displayed considerable resilience to come out eventual victors, in an all-action encounter, in which the lead switched hands several times.
Wharfedale hit early with a second-minute try for Bradley Viner, and Archie Haddon added a penalty to the subsequent conversion.
The hosts replied, as Ed Keohane ghosted in under the sticks and converted, but Haddon’s second penalty added to that lead. Preston seized possession and a slick move saw Billy Glover slide over.
