BILLINGHAM produced a thrilling second-half comeback to edge out Sheffield Tigers, in an equally lively and fiercely contested tie.
The visitors clawed in front first, as Jen Cliff dived over after ten minutes, Ireland adding the extras and a penalty soon after to extend their early lead.
The Lions responded in characteristic style, as Adam Brown and Eldon Myers crossed in quick succession.
