WHARFEDALE’S forward power won the day as they crushed a Billingham pack which struggled to get on top.
The game got off to an ominous start for the hosts when Wharfedale were awarded an early penalty try after Billingham were repeatedly penalised at the scrum.
Billingham came back into the game when Walton took an inside pass to crash over. Evans converted.
