DESPITE the narrow scoreline Chester were on top for most of the game, and it was only a try deep into injury time that salvaged two losing bonus points for a lacklustre Tynedale.
Chester went ahead on three minutes when a tap penalty led to a converted try for Scott Robson, but Tynedale struck on 20 minutes through Harrison Wood after a forward drive.
