Ionians so sound as Bell leads rout

IONIANS condemned Harrogate to a heavy defeat in an entertaining contest.
The hosts started where they left off last week, dominating play and looking as if they would inflict a trouncing on Harrogate.
But a combination of resolute defence and poor handling prevented the home side from taking the lead until Ben Bell crashed over for the first of his three tries nearly 30 minutes into the game.
Within three minutes Bell crossed again, and another well judged conversion made it 14-0 at the break.
