LOUGHBOROUGH held the edge in a close contest against Luctonians, with Tobias Munday leading the way.
Both teams laid the pressure from the off, but if was Luctonians who first put points on the board, with Deignan crossing from a line-out.
Loughborough soon hit back, with Toms and Adlington both making some great carries, but the side found difficulty getting any attempts over the line.
