HOSTS Blaydon were in generous mood as they gifted Wharfedale four of their six tries to send the visitors home happy.
The tone was set early as Blaydon spilled the ball in contact and winger Rian Hamilton had a long but easy run to the tryline.
Blaydon’s reaction was excellent, with Jonathan Dowell sending Jonathan Ashman over.
But Dale hit straight back when a strong scrum five metres out led to an easy try for Henry MacNab.
